Megan Miller, a Stillwater, Minnesota-based painter, finds her greatest inspiration and teacher in the open air. With an easel and oil paints, she immerses herself in landscapes, practicing 'en plein air' painting. Megan's connection with her clients shines through commissioned paintings, creating unique and cherished works. She studied with watercolor landscape painter Kim Faulk in 1994, and later pursued a bachelor's degree in fine art with a concentration in Interior Design from UW-Stout. Her passion for painting outdoors started during a course in London in 2001.
Megan further honed her skills studying with renowned landscape painters, including Kami Mendlik, Marc Hanson, Kim Casebeer, and Joe Paquet. Incorporating mindfulness from her yoga teacher training, Megan offers one-on-one outdoor painting sessions and semester classes infusing her art with a serene and meditative celebration of nature's beauty.
