Welcome to the work of Megan Miller, an award-winning plein air painter based in Stillwater, Minnesota. Working primarily in oils, Megan paints on location, traveling to landscapes that inspire her—returning often to Colorado and the Upper Midwest to gather reference studies in the field. These plein air studies inform larger studio paintings created with careful attention to scale, light, and atmosphere. Megan specializes in large-scale commissioned landscape paintings, creating custom work designed to anchor a space and live naturally within thoughtfully designed interiors. Her work brings a sense of quiet presence and balance to rooms meant to be lived in. She was awarded Exceptional Merit in the Open Class at the Grand Marais Plein Air Painting Event.
